Powder Coating

What is Powder Coating

Powder Coating is an advanced method of applying decorative and protective finishes to our quality steel products. The powder used for the process is a mixture of finely ground pigment and plastics. This mixture is sprayed onto the surface being coated, where it adheres electro-statically until heated and fused into a uniform coating in a curing oven. The result is a durable, high quality and attractive finish.

What can be Powder Coated

Powder coating can be applied to virtually any type of metal.  We can coat items up to 22 feet in length.

What are the advantages?

Primarily, this process presents a dramatic advantage over wet paint in the areas of durability, and corrosion resistance. Unlike liquid paint, no solvents are used, so only negligible amounts of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), are released into the air.
